We believe that businesses must play an important role in community development. That’s why when Scioto joins a community, we make a commitment to the economic development, civic organizations and overall improvement of that area. Such efforts are evidenced in our financial support of many non-profits, youth sports teams and community initiatives. However, it is our human resource investment that makes us most proud. Scioto associates are encouraged to become volunteers with several community organizations including the local Chamber of Commerce, Project Parks, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, Meals on Wheels, youth sports programs, the regional food banks, adult literacy programs and youth tutoring, just to name a few.
